asifR
can anyone recommend a decent wash and wax shampoo mix that i can use in between a full proper wash and wax session on me Grey B6. i did use simoniz wash / wax previously (the orange + green liquid's that required mixing before use) which did give a nice shine on me previous car, but no-one sells this anymore. ahaydock
Not sure about a wash n wax. But if you use a good shampoo such as Megs or CG Maxi Suds II etc, then use a Quick Detailer when drying, that will add a good shine and top up your wax (as long as the QD has nuba). steelwind101
Hi Often wash n wax products do not acutally provide alot of protection on there own, often they compliment wax that is already there. I have just got Poorboys Super Slick and Wax. This definatly leaves a good layer of wax on the car. I just got a spray wax today from Autogylm. If its anything like Optimium spray wax, it will be good. My advice to you: if you dont have a wax already on your car then get a cleaner wax eg: AG Super Resin Polish. Apply SRP, then get a spray top up wax. Wash with a good car wash then when you dry spray on the quality spray wax!! Its an extra BUT easy step that will really offer good rewards!! alexc
The Poorboys Super Slick & Wax works really well, I've been using it for the last couple of weeks and it leaves and great glossy finish.
