Tobes49
Me and Botang went to the GTI spring festival at santapod today. Decided to take the caddy down the strip to see if I had sorted the slipping clutch problem, The clutch still slipped a little but I managed a 12.6 second 1/4 VW Caddy 12.6 1/4 @ Santapod video (18MB)

I'm not sure what a standard MkIV Golf GTI would run but I expect around 15.5/16 seconds.

fizzbitt
Thats bloody impressive mate! What on earth you done to it? i managed a 13.5 @101mph in my mr2 turbo a couple of years back and that could hit 60 in just under 5 sec so your time is something special! And yeah.. no way that Golf was standard with such a time or terminal speed.

BrakeSnake
Depends on the model. My friends 3 year old 276hp model does it in around 14.5 secs. That was timed at the 'pod too. Think it crossed at around 98 mph. sub 14 for an un modded Zed is unrealistic. Would love to give my .:R a go at the run wot u brung. Maybe one day.
