jimmyp
Right does anyone know of any stories i should be concerned about?? or is there anyone who is in the "know" when it comes to this mapping marlarky, and doesn't have to be a Revo fan either, just want some info and some truth. PM will be just dandy as don't want to post certain things yet. Cheers peeps Jimmy
RedRobin
Ultimately it's just like buying a car - A decision which only you can make and one based on both the rational and irrational, both head and heart - Simply what feels right. Like most things, it's a people business and so which tuner you use needs to be someone you can trust and who will support you after you've given them your money. I would recommend Jim and Kate of JKM Portsmouth as Revo tuners. rs32 has also met them. I think Revo is pretty solid and straight forward - None of the risks of internet downloads or being less personal. But that's just my opinions. Mollox
To be honest, once an initial fault check has been run and you are sure that your car is in good working order it really doesn't matter who administers the revo remap. The dealer software is very well developed and basically foolproof.
RedRobin
You're probably right, Mollox, about who administers the Revo remap but I'm the sort of person who even cares about who changes my tyres! I like to feel confident in the person as well as the product.
Mollox
I am right. I've Revo'd cars myself and they didn't blow up
NunchukHamster
I'd second RedRobin's vote of confidence with regards to JKM. Had mine done there nearly a year ago now, not had a single problem.
