Cardinals
Thought you may like to see how effective the airbags are.... (picture attached I think) Heard the car being stolen from outside my house at 3 am, called the police and they gave chase. Chase got up to 140 mph and the police backed off to 1/2 a mile distance, at which point the theives stuffed it (it was raining and the tyres were at the wear limit) The chap said they reckoned on over 100 mph when they lost it. Thieves survived but were hospitalised. It took three weeks for the insurance to pay out! Still, speaks volumes for the safety systems in one of these things.. TDiAvant
Sorry to hear this Cardinals, it's a shame the feckers were not killed.... but it just goes to show the strength of the A4 So what are you getting next
cosmicblue
Nasty, bad news! Dare I ask if they broke into your house to get the keys 1st? I thought these things were pretty hard to nick unless you had a key with the ignition transponder? Cars in Garages are a good thing!
Cardinals
Yes, broke into house whilst I was asleep and stole the keys. They left my Fcar and took the Audi! Middle age came knocking so I replaced it with a CLS (doesn't handle as well as the Quattro but sure is comfy) Cheers

Looks like a piece of crash barrier stuck in there too. Just out of interest, what was footwell intrusion like - if any? Ian
