Well finally got round to washing the car tonight. Started at 8 and finished around 9.30 just as it was dark !. One thing I noticed when I was drying with the waffle weave and qd was that it was leaving a film on the roof as if I had not wiped it properly......do you think it was dew settling as night was setting in if its a swine when drying a car late at night! ?

Sounds like it could have been Dew , Do you use two drying towels ? I normally wipe with the first or place on to allow it to soak up the water and then follow with a soft dry cloth .

I didnt at first then thought maybe the ww towel is too wet so I went and got an mf and buffed off the qd, it still looked as if I hasnt done it properly. Woke up this morning and the roof looks fine.......

Spray your QD on to a wet panel and then dry normally. No extra rubbing or buffing is required. A simple and easy way to add some shine and make drying safer!!

Safer than what? Drying an alligator? or an angry tiger thats been for a swim... lol.gif

I noticed this on mine when druing off the other evening. Did the roof a few times but never really came off perfectly unless I used a clean dry MF cloth too, like I did the last time. Decided I would do the roof to the best it could be and then check on it after doing the bonnet. When I did so it was perfect so just need a bit of time to evaporate off it seems?

Anyway, more than happy with the Der Wunder WW for drying along with Last Touch 1:1 diluted. Cant see how I was ever happy before...
