mepr
Hello everyone. I have been fascinated by TVRs since i started playing gran tourismo on my playstaition and owned the compition in em. But i was just wondering on a seriouse note how one in the states could go about getting one, or even if they are availiable in the states. Anyway thanks for your help
Lagoo
Hi Mepr, Welcome to TS.net Unfortunately TVR cant import to the USA yet due to the emmission laws being very strict. Also TVR is a low volume producer therefore not having to comply with all the regulations imposed on the mass producers (i.e.airbag, crash testing), therefore stopping them producing a car for the American market. They brought one into the US for the filming of Swordfish but that is only allowed on a tempory basis (6months). I know TVR are now producing Left hand drive cars and have a dealership in Germany!! Sven
Y'r welcome Drill... I almost went for a Chimaera 4.5 myself. Unfortunately it's a bit too unpractical for me... A testdrive wouldn't hurt though, would it...
