Trefor
The seat base side bolsters (i.e. the ones next to your bottom) are looking a bit tired after 8 months and 6000 miles on our 56 plated GTi. Is this common? The cloth material itself is fine, just a few creases appearing already. I know this kind of thing happens to leather, but I've not had it on clotch before? If it gets much worse I'd like the seats retrimmed under warranty - anyone know if this is claimable?

chriswastle
My car is also 2 years old and i am in and out of the car all the time, my car shows no signs of wear, i think itdepends on your size and your approach to this. That said i have seen quite a few showing signs of wear

Tarmac_Terrorist
I always try to avoid squashing / passingover the bolsters. I think this can be an issue on many cars / makes - especially if the bolsters are high like on the GTI. Mines a 3 door and I always make sure that the seat it pushed back properly after accessing the rear to avoid scraping my way into the drivers seat again.
