kenny_boon
Hi all, i was reading up on RS4's in a few magazines, basically how expensive is the servicing etc? one of them quoted £1000 over 3 years for a B7 S4. and then £3000 for a B7 RS4, is this correct? cheers
Andyuk911
nope... If you supply your own oil and let an Audi dealer do the work .. about £200 (oil service) If that is your worry, then the car is not for you ... think about the Petrol and even tyres... kenny_boon
its not so much that, as i do very little milege a year so petrol would be very little! where as i would still get it serviced every year. im considering the S5 aswell so would imagine tyres are similar at £220-250 each
PetrolDave
I just paid £940 for a set of 4 Michelin PS2's - £235 each but you can get them for £220.

Adam
because its a highly tuned RS4 not a 1.9TDi - I am not a fan of AVS at all so came straight off it (seems to be default setting for a new car). Audi recommend an annual service if: a) you do low mileage b) you do a lot of urban driving c) you give it a good thrashinig answer is yes to all 3 for me so a no brainer there again I pay a fixed £216 pa for my service, consumables and tryes so it does not cost me any more to service every year so silly not to, but I would even if this was not the case

On older Audi designs I think that you do right to be cautious.
