Why would you service it every year?

because its a highly tuned RS4 not a 1.9TDi - I am not a fan of AVS at all so came straight off it (seems to be default setting for a new car).

Audi recommend an annual service if:

a) you do low mileage

b) you do a lot of urban driving

c) you give it a good thrashinig

answer is yes to all 3 for me so a no brainer

there again I pay a fixed £216 pa for my service, consumables and tryes so it does not cost me any more to service every year so silly not to, but I would even if this was not the case

AVS on the new TT is coming in at 12 months and low mileages for many drivers as the AVS sensors become far more sensitive. On older Audi designs I think that you do right to be cautious.
