mikebridges Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 Hi sorry to bug you guys with more stupid question, but its MOT time soon so I need some advice. I need new brakes, they sqeak when just driving normally (not even applying the brakes) and the occasionally grind when braking heavily. All four discs look fairly worn, so I thought it best just to get new discs and pads all round. I bought standard EBC ones all in cost me £130 quid, which I didn't think was all that bad. Anyway I now need them fitted, and was wondering what sort of price I should be looking at / how long it should take a garage. I got one quote at approx £45 an hour, and they said it would take them roughly 3 hours. This seems like a long time to me. What should I be looking for. By the way I have a 1.8T Sport.
