badgera
I've been adding miles at a decent rate so the service indicator was reading less that 1000 miles to the 1st service. Not bad 6 months in and 18000 miles. Booked in, got dealer to also change the wipers (lease car so not paying) total cost £360. For a first service! Only an oil change. Highlights are £90 worth of oil and £43 worth of pollen filters. There were a couple of recall software updates, thought I might get a copy of the details, I assume MMI, but the car does seem quicker and more economical, more than could be atributed to new oil. Oh and the fronts will need changing by the time I reach 20k (about 3 weeks time at this rate) so I guess that will be another £300-£400. Good job I'm not paying £700+ for 6 months running. So by the time the next service is due (40k) I think the gearbox oil will need changing (multitronic) and I would not be surprised to see disks and pads all round, new fronts again and possibly rears. Can't wait to sign for that bill! Cheap cars to run these Audis Hmmm.
cruiser647
These cars seem to get through pads and discs at a rapid rate! I do about 30K a year in the Bora TDi and it has not needed pads or discs yet. All driving up & down the A1
