I have a MKV Gti and I am having to purchase a replacement handbrake lever due to that fact that one our dogs (soon to be ex-dog if he does it again ) has chewed the leather handle of the handbrake lever. I have ordered the part and was looking to replace it myself but I am struggling to see how the handle is fixed in place. Anyone any idea how to remove it ?
