craigyb Posted August 2, 2007 Report Share Posted August 2, 2007 OK, just completed my first Avant upgrade, local firm had fitted an DVB-T solution which was pants, so they had me in to replace it with the OEM solution. craigyb Posted August 4, 2007 Report Share Posted August 4, 2007 The Nav screen is used, but an external TV tuner module is required that fits into the boot, 2 new antenna boosters are required in the side windows and cables to link them and the TV module together. Where the module sits in the boot you need the cage, housing and trim. WIth the RS4/A4 I think it is possible just to cut the existing trim to house the TV tuner as a cover is provided for the left hand part of the boot, but a quick check of your boot space would confirm this.
