Mouse Posted August 3, 2007 Report Share Posted August 3, 2007 My 2001 Polo GTI has a crap aftermarket alarm which causes me trouble from time to time, the worst being when we couldn't get it started for 3 weeks over christmas leaving me car-less. I'm just wondering what components do you need to reinstate the factory alarm. I took it to an electrician who was fixing a boot sensor switch and he said a control module is missing and it would cost £150 from VAG. Is this the so called convienience module?
