ChrisCSL
The GruppeM intake or BMC panel filter??? Induction system will make a difference to performance (not much but better with exhaust and remap). Also to sound. Panel filter benefit would not really be noticable. Induction system intake every time (athough cost is alot more). I'm not sure what mods you have on your car SkyNet if any yet. You money would perhaps be better spend in exhaust and remap first to get the best gain for your money. Apologies if you are doing this or have already done this. I will do some mods this winter on the .:R, Milly CATback Systems, KW Variant 3 and maybe the GruppeM RAMIntake! But I have to get a dyno, before the mods! I will go all the way in 2008... ChrisCSL
Good luck SkyNet. Sensible doing the dyno before mods then after. Hope it goes well and keep us posted with your progress :-)
RedRobin
GruppeM have already produced a CF intake for the Mk5 GTI - Costs an arm and a leg. Some of the American boys have gone for it but even they say it's too expensive for what it delivers.
