So the car is : A4 Saloon 170 Tdi S Line, Phantom black, covered 4500 miles. With following extras: DVD Sat Nav with Speech Dialogue System(2007 Original Disc) Bluetooth with prep in armrest Bose Cruise Colour DIS Interior Light pack Auto Opening boot lid(Gay I know!!) Cupramax
I doubt you'll get more than £19,500 for it, stick it on for £20k and see if you get a bite. The main problem being a new one is only £23,660 and you can get 10% off A4's quite easily from dealers.
TDiAvant
Is that the hack version of the SDS? as this would ge disabled if the new owner puts a later firmware DVD into the unit.

Where's that from as I'll have one for that. The list price of that car/spec he's listed is well over £27k, nearer £27.5k.

[/ QUOTE ] I have just got 10% off my new avant but thats only because my dealer is a good friend of mine and this is my fourth new car from him. I have tried 2 other dealers and the most they would give me was 5%! 10% is unheard of and according to my friend, a dealer will only offer that discount on fleet sales. Milo
10% is (or at least it was) acheivable. I got over 11% on my avant last year and many others on here have got discounts almost into double figures. It's about getting them at the right time and knowing what the brokers are doing them for Drivethedeal are still doing just under 11% - order off them and they simply punt your order to a franchised dealer which shows the margins are there if they really want your business. The only thing worth anything come resale is the Nav and that is a £500 give away at the moment and hence is devalued.
