richey33
Hello All, What's this phrase I read about when looking at MFD 'D' or 'G'. On some advertisements is says 'double DIN navi' ?? I know I am thick, but what is this on about ?? Cheers everyone, Richey
Gti_Fly
All MFD satnav's are Double Din - Din is the techical name referring to the size of the unit. A normal car radio is a Single Din unit (ie rectangle shaped front). A double din (like VW satnav) occupies twice the space so it's called a double din. So going back to your question, all MFD's are techinically Double Din
