When engine is idling the part circled in the pic makes a constant ticking sound and I've never heard it before. When I put my hand on it I could actually feel a slight "knock" i guess is the right word, in sequence with the ticks. What is this part, what does it do and should it be ticking? Tried to hear what happened when the engine was revved but instead was amazed at the "sucking" sound the intake makes, so much so that i forgot to make a note of what happened to the ticking. Should the sucking be so loud, its just the standard intake box, no CAI! Also noticed that one of the plastic cover clips has broken Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
