EdR32 Posted September 2, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 2, 2007 Hmmm. I called VW as soon as I found out as I was pretty sure it was wrong. They kept going on about it being long life oil, which it obviously isn't or there's a problem. I had to put a litre in just to get home. ChrisBuer Posted September 4, 2007 Report Share Posted September 4, 2007 I put just under 1 litre in every 1100 miles or so. I'm told by VW that the tolerance level is 1 litre every 600 miles.
