I like it as it's focussed on the head and shoulder of the horse

Yup, nice motion capture there. If you'll forgive me being a bit negative though, the white pole in front is distracting, though I do appreciate that that's just because of where you were standing. If you could have got a better position (about three to six feet to the right at a guess), you could have got that shot without the pole getting in the way. I know that's not always possible though, because the plumb spots are usually camped out by the pro photographers! :)

Great idea for a thread, some cracking pics in here also! I haven't really posted on TSN for what seems like an age however, now that I have an S3 (again) I think I'll find myself on here a fair bit :)

Here's what I've been upto since I've been away:

Thanks Tone!

I was going to call you earlier on but I got side-tracked (as usual). I'll give you a tinkle tomorrow, hope all is well?

Cheers,

Deano

Hi mate

I am still in Kuala Lumpur so I'll drop you a call when I'm back in the UK - otherwise big roaming cost!!

I've been buying loads of camera gear - hoping to see a Sigma Disti this week so I can buy my first proper wide angle lens...

Love the northern lights shot as well, its a trip I really need to take so I'll be interested in costs for that one - saw your flickr pages - actually looked really good...

Keep up the great photography - without sounding poncy I do aspire to your work mate!!

Cheers

Tone

Dont get stopped by customs on the way back:grin:

Got myself a SB800 for £200+++

Haha - I'm ok got back at 4.30am and have the two filters - the screen cover was out of stock!

I'll get them posted off to you on Monday - and sort out the change.

Good price on the SB800 - so what Camera you using D90/300?

I got my 600 from New York - for £141.

Desperately tried to obtain the Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 whilst away but its actually cheaper in HK through One Stop Digital...

Cheers Mate

Tone
