Tipex
Ahh poor little thing, it's wearing a puffa jacket, must be feeling the chill! Wonder if Ferrari will issue them all with the jacket so they start on cold mornings?
Andrew
Is this the 599 replacement? PH had something about a new "F70" coming with 900 hp (120 odd being from a KERS system).

Tipex
599 replacement will have 720bhp ish, it's the Enzo replacement that will be north of 900bhp AKHUNA MATATA! I know this is a car forum (most of the time, if you excuse the pesky Audi drivers), and this is therefore a stupid question, but 720bhp for the 'normal' Ferrari? is there really any point in that sort of figure? surely 500 odd bhp is 'enough' for pretty much any car? Although is this ad Mook posted for the 599 replacement? And Tipex, behave!! More is better. Full stop.

Cars are getting better and better at putting their power down. Take the 458. It manages to get to 100 as fast as the Macca F1 did with much less weight and more power. With this power i do wonder whether ferrari go RWD or 4WD as the FF? Either way with the gremlins that live within the ECU im sure they will make it work. I say let them. this will no doubt be the ultimate daily sex bomb out there - and of course they have to outdo the aventador. I for one look forward to both seeing it and the depreciation that will no doubt hit it.
Andy_Bangle
Here we go ... The F620 GT's 6.3-litre V12 will produce 740 horsepower and 690 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful twelve-cylinder engine ever made by Ferrari. With a redline of 8,700 rpm, this powerplant will move the Italian grand tourer to 60 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds and 100 mph in 8.3 seconds. It's also lighter, lower and shorter than the 599 it's replacing. Edited February 24, 2012 by Andy_Bangle

Andy_Bangle
The silver one above is a wooden model, the real thing was inside and red - a source was at the unveiling on Monday Funny enough that's exactly what was written on GTspirit yesterday: We can confirm that this is a wooden model of the new F620 GT painted in Matte Aluminium. It was used during preview events. The actual car displayed at the 2012 Geneva Auto Salon and revealed next week will be Ferrari Red. There was one red Ferrari F620 GT at the preview event inside which has more details than this wooden full scale model.
bazza_g
Should have posted earlier then! Wopps too knows the chap who went to the launch, he has quite a selection of metal. Though trying to beat his LP670SV down the A3 was never going to result in a Bazza win
