garcon magnifique
As Chris Evans just said on Twitter. "Vettel to Ferrari. Alonso to McLaren. Ferrari just got slower."
Paul
Its got to hurt Vettel when the new guy is running rings around him. Ricciardo is the one to watch as future champion.
Luke
I think Vettell is bored at RedBull. What else has he got to prove. He needs a new challenge.
E-bmw
I suspect he may think he is such a driving god, that in any other car than the current Red Bull he will win another 4 back to back championships........ I think history will prove him wrong.
Ian_C
Lewis to McLaren if he wins WDC. Alonso and Hamilton will NOT be at McLaren together!
Andy_Bangle
With Sebastian Vettel seemingly going to Ferrari and Fernando Alonso leaving them, the world press are all trying to get Fernando to reveal where he’s going next year. Even Felipe Massa was trying to get it out of him, hijacking a TV interview to ask if he was going to Marussia or Caterham
Cuprabob
It would have been funny if he replied "No, I'm taking your seat at Williams":-) Edited October 4, 2014 by Cuprabob
jimdiesel
Regarding Vettels performances this season it is worth remembering afew facts. 1). He is coming off 4 consecutive WDCs. Hakkinen was wiped out after 2. 2). He became a father this year. Even top flight sportsman can be effected by this life changing event. 3). His get out clause of his RBR contract had to have him lower than 3rd in the WDC at a certain point in the season. Maybe he had Ferrari on his mind as soon as he knew about Adrian's stepping down. Cuprabob
There was talk a few years ago that Vettel had signed a pre-contract with Ferrari. I can imagine the majority of drivers.wanting to drive for Ferrari at some point in tbeir career due to their history.
Andy_Bangle
Ferrari has got to be a good gig for any driver, a decent pay packet and an awesome company car
Waylander
I don't get the Alonso to McLaren. seems like he was stuck - in a rut at Ferrari and no competitive seat available to him. pity.
Cuprabob
As others have said, I think it's more like Alonso to Honda than to McLaren.

garcon magnifique
I'll believe that when I see it. Although Alonso and Hamilton back at McLaren under Dennis would be ace. If only for comedy value.

CarMad
Alonso and Hamilton back in the same team..... I can see the fighting and spats from here, very funny if true. Do they think they are going to have a very special car then?!?! That can be the only reason that I can seem, but history says that new engine suppliers need a season or two to bed in. Torino101
That would be totally bizarre if those two reunited at McLaren, I'll believe that when I see it.

Chief Mechanic and long term mate of Vettel, Kenny H, has also left Redbull as of last week.... make of that what you will! http://www.grandprix247.com/2014/10/03/vettels-chief-mechanic-leaves-red-bull-immediately/
