Sparky
Mine must be starting to ease up. Just filled up - used to seeing 540 miles remaining, now it's telling me 680.

Soapsuds
My average is usually 700 Miles on a full tank - i.e. fill up with 20-40 miles remaining on DIS (£55 usually, less £4 Tesco discount!!! ). This is a combination of Motorway driving (decent runs at about 75 - 80mph) and A / B roads going 12 miles to work and 12 miles back most days, with some congestion. If i hammer it through the B roads on some journeys back from work / motorways, i usually end up seeing 650 Miles. My car has covered 30,000 miles and has only had 1 service. It isnt using any oil (reminds me - i must check!!). Next service due in about 18,000 Miles according to the DIS. Im happy!!!! And before you ask, yes my climate is on Auto! Purchasing a Tuning Box this week to see what that is like (just a cheapo one for now from mrhoot.com) and will see if the MPG gets any better! Cant really hope for much more. gizze
We bought an A2 1.4tdi Sport (90ps) yesterday and I did 480 miles in it and filled it back up at a cost of £31, which worked out just under 60mpg! Not bad as it was round southend, back to norwich, down to Woking, into Hampstead for lunch (well Belsize), back to Woking and then back to Norwich, with the obligitary London traffic and the 120 miles of constant stop/start driving on the M25. A little better than the A4 Cab that was returning approx. 300 miles for £60+ worth, and on a day like today it would have been down to 18mpg easily.
