Glovepup
I did get some freebies thrown in that saved me about £
drpellypo
Well, I got offered £1000 off, but apparently the dealer is only getting 4 a year in (I'm not entirely sure about this information.) Have been quoted a cheaper price, and immediate availability of a Golg GTi, so I may be pulmping for that.
Glovepup
From what I was told from someone else that spoke to a dealer and from my own dealer they get 6 a year to sell.
drpellypo
That's a tiny amount! How very random. I guess that's why there's not much chance of discount.
Calm Chris
I think Billy Bullsh1te rumour mill is floating around the net... Seat UK are trying to make the car hard to discount and are trying to keep 'spare' stock down, but it won't last. Once the blindly faithfull orders of previous Leon owners have been settled discounts will start. I was offered 3% by a dealer I won't buy from on Saturday. I've shared the family car for 6 months so I can either wait or buy something else. As with all new models that have been keenly anticipated, once the rush is over prices will drop. Take the FR model, discounts approaching 10% are now available. Just incase you'd like to Revo a Cupra, here's the power chart:-

Sparky
[ QUOTE ] So come on then what have you gone for when does it arrive ?!? [/ QUOTE ] No, despite liking the Leon very much I've decided not to buy one. SEAT have serious problems with their delivery of spare/replacement parts to their dealer network. Our Leon still is not fixed/awaiting parts from back in Jan. While not a reflection on the car - which is very good, it leaves me with no confidence in the brand at the moment. It's not just one dealer either, and the parts aren't specialist ones for that matter. Shame, as I'd have loved one.

lazerblue
Snoopy so what are you looking at now ... Back to a TT ? Im sure with magnetic type suspension upgrade it would handle fantastic and the 2.0 Tfsi engine is plenty fast enough with the appropiate mods
Snoopy
The octavia vRS is more practical for our family as a family car. (meens i can keep using the GTI and she can have the skoda) But the leon is tempting too, as is a A3 sportback 2.0T. The other option i looked at was a tyre R for me or an S3 and use the GTI as the family car (Our current GTI is a 5door). Still looking all have there pros and cons and i cannot decide. CarMad
I can vouch for the Sportback being a nice motor though not quite as quick as the rest its still plenty quick enough. Enjoy your pondering oh and Happy Birthday.
