I have just bought a 123d Msport to combat the endless fuel price rises. There is no logic in it .. I guess it will never pay for itself .. and I guess I will use the S4 Cab for most of the summer ... but I use it a lot for the business miles which helps fuel and depreciation. The main reason is though ... I just feel soooo RIPPED OFF in this country. We pay 40% on what we earn... take it home then pay 90% or whatever it is on fuel .. then 450 a year on car tax ... under the **llsh1T auspices of the 'green tax'. Not selling though ... the BM is fantastic to drive ... but back in the S4 today .. I cant sell !!!!

Playing the waiting game here .... 90ish on a dual carriageway and didn’t spot the man on the bridge with the gun. Thing is there was also a patrol car below who had already stopped an XKR .. so I don’t know if they carry with the gun or if it needs both of them. My fault – should have been looking out

Never seen one before .. M6 northbound nr 16 .. v impressive looking machine. Reg 51NGH. Should treat it with more respect though .. big dent in the o/s/f wing plate didnt look cheap either !

Just went out and checked - you beat me to it! Have you got elec memory seats in yours .. and if so have you tried to associate a set of keys with a seat memory. Its supposed to work .. so that when for example key 1 opens the door - the seats go to position 1 .. doesnt seem to work at all... the dealer just looks blank .. doesnt bother me - but just wondered

I left mine for ages until it turned into a massive crack. When I told the Audi dealer about the noise (I paid £300 for the screen) they said - probably nothing we can do ... it would have to come out again and 'they' wouldnt do that (they being the RAC I think). They have asked for it in though to 'have a listen' Im not fussy really .. but on a 45K car its not great if they wont change it. We are not talking about a bit of wind noise ... its really bad !

Yes - they were probably fobbing you off. I insisted on a genuine screen. Interestingly - I was out the other day with the hood down (first time this year) and the sun was behind me - shining down into the screen / dash onto what appeared to be a seal - which looked a real mess. I will have a look tonight with a torch. The car was due in last friday so they could 'listen' to it .. but I couldnt be bothered - and the friday before that Snow was forecast so I wanted the car for the 4WD. Think I should take it in really ...

Bloody Hell I HATE having new windscreens. Every time it happens to a car in work - there are always problems afterwards - trim / damage etc. Let me know how you get on ... I paid the AUDI dealer to do mine (they called in someone) and I have just had it back. Now it has loads of Wind noise above 65-70. They told me its quite a job on the B7 Cab ... ?why?

Im sure Audi will really struggle ... but manage to get over it...

123D M-Sport 3 Door

The whole thing just makes sense to me. Plenty of fun and plenty of MPG. I love the S4 cab to death .. but I have done 40K miles since March 06. Loads of my mileage is going to see customers etc .. and even for a petrol head £70 a fill is looking steep .... and its all TAX

I think its a four with sequentials .. it felt really great when I had a test drive, just preferred the look of the 3 door to the coupe. S4 still felt better though

The more I talk to people the more I am looking forward to it, its the 123d M-Sport so should have the sports seats I guess.

The 123D is a great drive. Just ordered a 3 door in white with Xenons, 18" wheels and all the toys - to keep the mileage off the S4. Not totally sure about the shape - but should look ok hopefully

I agree... Will let you know if the grows on me though ... Great engine though and a nice spec ... so we shall see !

TBH I have a 123D on order as a run around to go and see customers in etc .. mainly to save the mileage on the S4. I think its a great car .. superb to drive, but I agree, like many of the BMW models its very colour dependent, looks good in some colours not in others. Still looking forward to it though .. Still cant help having a pop at the even though I am about to become an owner

Can anyone help. One of the girls at work is thinking of ordering an A4 Cab in special order Silver Violet. We have a colour swatch thing from the dealer - but I cant find a car anywhere in that colour... Anyone got one? or any pics etc? I think it was a TT colour originally... Any help much appreciated....

Blinds ... I think when they are really little you need to be able to cut out the sun completely....
