thats what i have alright, in first and second it seems ok (bit weak), then in third between about 2750 and 3,000 rpm it just drops off. i was foot to the floor in third and an accent was going by me yesterday. O the shame!!!

tried that but it doesn't seem to make any difference. had a look at the maf last night and it looked like the wire was missing from it, will have a better look in daylight when i get a chance. thanks. D.

i dont know whats causing this. it feels like the turbo isn't working, but when idle i can hear it spin up if i put the acclerator down. it only seems to half work when driving (the car doesn't seem to leap away as it usually did.). its had an oil change with an oil and fuel filter change in the last two weeks. i hit a dead badger on the road recently which burst the fuel pipe and i also ran out of diesel twice!!! so i'm wondering if it could've picked up some crud from the tank and clogged the injectors. when accelarating in third it seems to sie around 3000rpm. any help appreciated. its a 01 a4 1.9td red i, supposedly 130bhp, sport. thanks. i'm having an intermittent problem with my drivers window. when i try to get it to close it stops about 8 inches up and then comes back down. this is intermittent but it happens more often than not. i cant see anything in the runner and the motor doesn't sound like its under strain. could it be a faulty relay???

hi, this is one of my first posts here so forgive me if it's in the wrong area. i have a '01 a4 tdi sport. owned for the last 4 weeks. in the last few weeks i've noticed a buzzing/humming noise when i reach about 60mph or when the revs are at about 2000. i thought at first i may have got a pinhole in the exhaust but since it only happens above 60mph and 200rpm i kinda ruled that out. i only really noticed after i was forced over on to the kerb and pinched my front left wheel. its not loud but its right on the edge of hearing it. this is the first diesel that i've owned so i'm not sure of all the noises that are coming from it yet. i'm kinda worried that it may be the gearbox but there is only 69k on the clock. any help greatly appreciated. thanks. i really miss it in my audi. i had a bmw 520 before this and it had everything. i know that they are only gimmicks but when i know that they go in the car i have to have them. i had a mondeo before the bmw and completely stripped that out so i could put in a new loom just to have the extra warning module in. just as a bit of an aside what parts do you need for the cruise. i've been speaking to a couple of guys who can fit it but the only problem is that i live in ireland. is it like my mondeo was where i had to have an actuator in the engine bay and wire it back to the steering wheel or how is it controlled? thanks D.
