  1. You'll love it, just don't waste the money on Bose and buy heated seats instead....you don't need bose when you have a 3.2 V6 and you'll be driving around with the windows open so you need the seats!! ;-)
  2. Yep, around 20K is normal, but I heard it works it out based on the fuel usage. So if you drive like a nutter, more fuel is used, and the sooner the service will come around. Remember to shop around when the service is due, different dealerships will charge different prices!
  3. Yes, it's the manual kickdown. When driving in manual mode the car (quite rightly) won't kick down if you accelerate, but if you floor it and press the button, it will kick down.
  4. [ QUOTE ] My car is lowerd with H&R 35mm Pic Pic Pic Pic You can find some more on my homepage. [/ QUOTE ] Nice one, looks fantastic!
  5. You're right it doesn't work on the TDI. Can you imagine sending all that torque through the front wheels! I have used it on my 3.2 and it kicks off even in the wet with no problem.
  6. James, where did you get your info from?
  7. I had my insurers (Admiral) list it as a 3.2 Sport Auto and then made them note the bigger alloys and spoiler. (they put the price up too). I think I was ripped off. Best I could get was 900-ish 5 years NCB, average postcode.
  8. [ QUOTE ] What colour is your S-Line? it's not black is it? i'm trying to get hold of a picture of one... [/ QUOTE ] Take a look at mine here
  9. Exactly my thoughts. You only de-badge if you're ashamed of what's under the bonnet or you want total stealth when you have nothing to prove anyway. I want everyone to know I've got 3.2 litres.
  10. [ QUOTE ] Only 4 more sleeps! [/ QUOTE ] I call them NIBs - Nights in Bed!!
  11. Nice one, about time too! Don't loose too much sleep, but be sure to post some pictures when it's got it's frock on!
  12. TT 225 @ 26 then A3 3.2 S-line at 27. Mortgage but no kids!! I opted out of my company car scheme so that I could get what I wanted, and not what Gordon Brown wanted me to have!!
  13. Looks really good. Welcome to the 3.2 experience!! I expect you'll be traveling everywhere with the windows open too! I really like the Alu inlays too, shame it wasn't allowed with the DSG.... The s-line badge on the wheel must be standard I think. Mine has it too. Is anyone thinking about getting an s-line badge for the rear or front grill from VAG parts?
  14. Yep, he should have it by now!! Bet someone didn't get much sleep last night!
  15. Orbit, ordered mine on May 26th and was told a few weeks later that it was build week 28 (w/c July 5th I think). From then it was ready for shipping at the end of that week, and arrived at the dealers almost next day. Then I had to wait a week (dealer told me it usually takes them 4 days to turn it around) until I could come and collect on the 20th July. Admittedly, the dealer did say that it had arrived quickly. LeMan, I will give it a try as soon as I've done 1000 miles I think. How many has yours done? Maybe wait until the engine has losened up a bit!
  16. [ QUOTE ] JAY, Make sure you fill it with SUPER... makes a HUGE difference!!! [/ QUOTE ] Do you reckon? I've not tried it yet, but talking to the boys on the TT-Forum, they reckon it doesn't make much difference on the 3.2...would be interested to hear different. Orbit, I can't believe you've been waiting for so long, I really feel for you man, not long now though!
  17. You won't be disappointed Jay, I know what thay wait is like! I've only seen 1 other 3.2 s-line so far since I ordered mine, so it seems they're still fairly rare!
  18. Thanks for the comments! Not sure why it has been moved either, it wasn't my doing...and no it's not for sale!!!
  19. Well, I've taken a lot out of this forum in the last 2 months, and so it's time to give something back... I'm reading about all the delays on some people's cars, and not wishing to annoy anyone, but I ordered my 3.2 S-Line with Bose, Arm Rest, Black Interior, Xennons and no smoking pack (edit: and DSG) at the end of May. I picked it up last Tuesday (about 7 weeks). This is going to be a cold winter for me and I wish I'd chosen heated seats, because at the moment I'm driving everywhere with the windows down! The sound of that engine is better than any Bose stereo!! So here are a few pictures to repay those times when I checked the forum every day in hope of a few new pictures! It was a bit of a rushed job, and I hope to have somemore up in a few days time. Cheers, Chris
  20. Had a call myself the other day to say my 3.2 is sitting at the dealers, and I'm collecting on Tuesday Waiting SIX weeks until September 1st? I don't think so!
  21. Nice pics, it's the first time I've seen that the steering wheel has an s-line badge on it! <Flame Suit on> I love you way everyone is convincing themselves that diesel is great
