There is Optimax available at the Shell on the Stourbridge bypass for anyone in the Dudley/South Brum area.. apparently they haven't had any shortage problems? Been there the last 3 days and been topping up..

What fuel you running on? Optimax.. Ultimate?

Have you checked the hoses for any splits.. or try scoobynet..

Brum is out of optimax aswell.. even tried a few garages in cov while i was down over xmas.. none left.. all blaming the oil fire.. BP drying up quick.. guna have to switch to the misses Golf..

I took the car to a subaru dealer and the service salesman point blank refused to help me.. didn't even want to touch the car let alone look at it.. he said because it's an import they dont have parts.. things are different.. just making excuses... going to wait for the old man (been a mechanic for 30yrs) to get back from holiday and take a butchers.. but a bit hard to know how fast im going.. just have to look at the revs.. BUT WHAT A CAR!!!!

Hi guys... After getting in a lift in the mates WRX, I sold my S3 and bought an import WRX... and what a motor! Much better grip, handling, acceleration and it's a 4-door so can get the nipper in the back.. bonus! Anyway, being an import, the previous owner changed the speedo to MPH, which works fine but the speedo needle bounces when idling and the electronic mileage flickers on and off. The bloke reckons some cable out the back has popped out and is making contact with the bodywork or some part which is causing the problem. Now not being mechanically minded, does anyone have a clue if he's talking bullsh!t? I got a scooby dealer round the corner from my work place so was guna pop in there and get them to check it.. but what are they like? expensive, rip off's? Any help much appreciated.. (will change my picture soon)

Went to stealers... ordered me 2 keys @ £6 each. Not too bad.

Rang the local stealers.. said they have a master set.. so should be able to pop it of and if they can't order a key then they can sell me a new locking set for £25..

Enquired about my 80K service from stealers.. and including the Haldex came up to about £400. I'd already had the belts/pump/ARB done from them at a cost of £800+ so decided to go to a specialist who (inc. the haldex) did a 80K service for £172 inc VAT. BARGAIN! I prefer the console/dash of the pre-facelift so much so that i sold a console/dash from post 2000 that i had as a spare. Change the lights at the back and no-one will notice, plus you save some cash! Did i mention i'm selling mine.. pre-facelift but still a stunner.. check the classifieds.. am open to offers...

I just pulled my pants down and paid the stealer £350 to do it... like you all say probably didn't need the ARB replacing but Audi insisted (lying ) saying it's part of a whole kit.. i wasn't clued up then..

Guys, I got a screw in my new Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyre on the rear and after searching for ages can't find my locking wheel nut for the original alloys Questions: Is the only way i can take the wheel of to get it repaired is to take it to Audi? Will they sell me a key for my original locking nut or will they insist i buy a new set from them? Can i get them to remove the locking nut on all of the four alloys and fit an after market one myself? I've been quoted £10 to repair the tyre, but just need to get the flippin wheel of.. Just the hassle you need when trying to sell your motor!
