Adam
I know there are some AV buffs on here so what are your opinions I know CA have a good rep for audio stuff but what about DVDs just bought the DVD 59 - apparently failry new but it seemed a good deal, nice looks, slim design, multi-region out of the box (not the chipped Sony I used to have), prog scan and seems to play any format incl mp3 Richer Sounds recommended it and bought for £199 (and traded in the Sony for £150 using their excellent extended guarantee/buyback scheme ) trouble is I can't find anything out about CA DVD players - their website doesn't even seem to list this model are the some dodgy made-for-Richer models
s4dreamer
What HiFi? rates the DVD 57 as 4* (out of 5), so that model ain't too bad (although they say the picture quality lets it down). IIRC, typically, Richer Sounds buy up end-of-line stock, so maybe the reason you can't find the DVD59 on the CA website is that it is no longer made ? That's as much as I can give you. Adam
I understand the 59 is newer than the 57 - basically the same features but pay an extra £50 for the slimmer design and beeter quality components
