TheEdge Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 Hi All Can anyone roughly estimate how much water would be needed in litres ? to rinse, shampoo, and final wash a car ( Golf Sized) using a karcher suction pipe going into a water butt large bucket etc? Would the water run out too quickly with the spray nozzle on its mid setting? I am thinking of mixing the bucket with shampoo as well as warm water !! with this linked to my karcher pressure washer any help would be great thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you do, don't use that, just use the normal hose connection, and the karcher should draw the water. I'd say you'd need about 100 litres. TheEdge Posted December 18, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 yes mate the ordinary hose for taking in the water yes! 100 litres sounds about right will have to look into some practical size water containers etc as id rather not run out of water when i give the car one round of coverage with water !
