jediknight83
but with the clan tag you need to all be in the same room already right?? so you still need to do a party invite?
Riz
I dont get how to work the whole invite system..... tonight a couple of you invited me...... but I dont get the invites whilest im part way through a game.... when I exit the game it asks me if I want to accept the invite... I click yet and the screen goes blank then a server full message comes up. They should have done a "please add me to your game" button. Big_Al
This was on the COD4 website today. 'Activision and Infinity Ward confirm that new downloadable multiplayer maps are on the way this spring. In development for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the upcoming downloadable content will thrust gamers into new combat zones across a variety of intense multiplayer locales.' DanG
With the whole invite thing its a bit of a pain. Obviously the games are set up for 12 players, so if you are invited, but the server populates the game before you say 'yes', then you get the server full message when you try to join. You can also see if you have been invited whilst playing a game, when you go into the menu screen to change class etc (start button), messages will apear there. The best way is for us to coordinate a time, one person invite everyone, and then go for a team deathmatch. What say to Wednesday night at 8pm?? DanG
Not sure they can charge for them, unless they want to set up a second server for those who have paid for the additional maps, and keep the first server for those who have not. Wouldn't be worth the money I suspect.

DanG
Was rubbish last night, server was all over the place. Ending games, server full, lobby closed etc etc. Might have had something to do with my connection, but was jumping around and being killed a lot! Riz
They need to find a better invite and play request....... I think they should allow a certain window so invited people can join a hosted game. Im slowly getting better but noway as good as Hector and some of the others.... im on level 25. Sparky
For all the PlayStation 3 Call of Duty 4 players out there, listen up. Today we spoke with Infinity Ward's Community Relations Manager Robert Bowling and acquired new information about the upcoming "Features Patch" soon to be released. Here is a detailed list of some of the improvements Infinity Ward will be including in the new patch: - Optimized servers - New Kill cams (grenades, RPG's, airstrikes, claymores, and more) - Quick Mute (allows user to mute annoying players by pressing X on their gamertag in the lobby) - Addition of "Recently Met Players" for the PlayStation Network - Improvements to the Sniper Rifles and Acog attachments (no more delayed shots) "(With the new kill cams) you can watch from when the grenade leaves the enemies hand all the way to the explosion that kills you," said Bowling. In addition to the new patch details, PS3 gamers can expect servers to run smoother. The "Downloading Game Settings" bug was due to DemonWares servers having to handle the massive amounts of PlayStation 3 users logging in. With the new optimizations, gamers shouldn't have too many problems in the future. Stay tuned, as we'll have more news on the new Call of Duty 4 updates and DLC soon. Oh add a few of us to your friends list in Playstation Network, then you will see when we log on. Finally - whats your PSN name? and we can add you.
