Am toying with buying one to see what they look like in the flesh! Will ring VW tomorrow but the chance of getting any sence out of them will be slim! Thanks! bowie Posted January 20, 2008 Report Share Posted January 20, 2008 They do look good on a white car don't they. I remember seeing the one they used in CAR in their test with the M3, RS4 and Porsche. Awesome. What about some from the states ? They won't be genuine, so VW won't warrant them and they'll probably be a little heavier. Be interesting to see how much though ( weight & cost ). Chris. They were asking £1050. W/o tyres of course. I hope that helps. I'm seriously thinking about getting a set for my white MY2006 GTI. BTW although this may be the wrong forum to ask this, if we buy and fit them, do you think we should tell our insurers? They are not OEM, right? What happens if they are damaged or worse, stolen?
