EKTA for an old A6

Does anyone know if EKTA covers a 1994 model A6 Avant, german import to UK spec? I have a 2.0lt version and bits are starting to go wrong ( Aerial booster, Wheel bearings, and the heater matrix seems inefficient) so will need to get my hands dirty. The Haynes manual is good, but it would help if I could see the parts - does EKTA have diagrams? Can anyone send me a copy? or tell me where I can download one from? notworthy.gif

Thanks for the tip - Erwin looks very useful. I would still like to get hold of a copy of EKTA to help identify parts - ie the rubber boot for the tailgate wiring and a water temp sender. We have a very useful independent Audi stockist locally but I hate to keep haselling him every time I want to identify a part. Does EKTA cover the old models?

According to ETKA the A6 only started in '95 which seems to tally with previous models ended, so maybe 1994 was a production date but it's considered a 95 model. ETKA covers models as far back as the 70's....just as an idea the below is one of the temp sensors...you'll need to save the pics and then you can zoom in to see part numbers etc.

Gambba - thanks for all that info - if that is what you can get from EKTA I really will need to find myself a copy.

My Audi is one of the models that were made for 2 years as a transitional model from the 100 series to the new A6 shape. It is a german import made to UK spec so makes it a bit hard to ensure I get the right parts.

The temp senders look right and i can see the rubber boot in the diagram. I will get on to the local parts dealer this weekend.

Some nasty person smashed the rear screen last night so I have spent most of today talking to repairers trying to identify the right piece of glass- they seem to think the 92 model will fit - it doesn't have an integral rear light in the screen.
