shao_khan
I have no idea on value - can you send me a pm with what you are expeccting and an idea of how much work - is the floor / rails intact or is it requiring ground up work? Cheers

Mook
[ QUOTE ] looking for £3400 drive away [/ QUOTE ] Sorry, Allen, I reckon you're massively over on that. I'd say closer to £1500, but best of luck getting as much as you're after

allen
no not a splitty, did they make a 1975 split?
Mook
No. Splits stopped in 1969 IIRC. Def not still going in 1975, although you can get kits to make your wraparound (as that one's known) look like a splitty.

charlie61
£3400 a 72 model with 12 months MOT and TAX only made £3400 on ebay, good luck http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLKSWAGEN-T2-1972...1QQcmdZViewItem
allen
thing is, (here goes bigging up my camper), what you see is what you get, once the engines in it will pass a mot, my mate bought one looked good on the outside. But when he started to delve, found allsorts, door skins welded over original doors, leaks, rusty chassis, the list goes on. put back together and respray would be worth at least 7k, anyway up to you lot its there for sale. Got a motor trader looking at it this week
Ben
Last split was in 67 - I was lucky enough to have one as a first car - but stupid enough to fully restore it inside and out and sell for £2,800 That was back in the 90's though. Bays are getting silly expensive too, you used to be able to get a good one for £1500 but now they seem to be up at £6k+ If all it needs is putting back togther then why not just do it and maximise your profit? Engine in is a 30 minute job! All the best with the sale. Ben
