Booster
Following on from my post about the Navara that was on fire in the other thread: My client no longer wants the vehicle. It went in on 4th Feb for a new gearbox and clutch and it is still there now as it has been on fire . It would appear that they were welding something on it and the battery was still connected and this caused something to arc and the whole of the nearside rear wheeel arch area is no longer there. The dealer has said that will obviously put it right but my client doesn't want it back. It is one year old on 1st march and in total has been in the dealership for more than 30 days in its first year with problems. It is a commercial vehicle belonging to a ltd company. Has he got any rights to say he doesn't want it back?
DanG
30 days off the road in a year would make it a lemon under US Lemon laws - surely there is something similar in the UK. That to me is totally unacceptable. Particularly as they then set fire to it!!
