Nelson_R32 Posted June 7, 2008 Report Share Posted June 7, 2008 I can't believed people missed that it takes 200 milliseconds to upshift (100 in Sport mode). The Transverse DSG takes only 8 milliseconds!! I hope they can somehow improve on that before it hits the market. I'm sure the difference will be negatable either way and it will still be the best longitudinal mounted box on the market when it does arrive. Neel S5 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Share Posted September 12, 2008 Test drove S5 with S-tronics, and i find the car boring to drive. It all about having manual which allows you to really feel the car and have the enjoyment of driving. Manual S5 all day....if you want auto or that kind of drive, buy a Merc.
