cabby
Looks like a great idea to me - refurbed wheels sent to you, fitted and your old wheels are then returned by post for what look like reasonable rates. The process also looks to be the more thorough dip, strip and paint rather than the mobile bodge. pxwheels
Mook
Seems like a good idea and should save on having to find a set to run your car on while they're being done
techieboy
Not sure I'd want to surrender my OEM wheels in place of some replicas that they might supply to replace. Prefer the Pristine approach of loaning you some temporary wheels, whilst yours are back at their base for refurbing.
stooH
The fact that they send out the replacements before you send back your old ones gives you a chance to reject them should they be replicas I would have thought. Seems like a very good price as well. When you get a wheel refurbed how do they normally do it because the process they mention on the website seems quite an extensive one, wonder how hard wearing the finish is? Mook
If you look at the site, they're very clear what are OEM and what are reps
techieboy
Ah yes, so it does, that'll teach me for not scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page.

[/ QUOTE ] This is the same process that Lepsons use I believe and i'm guessing is as thorough as it gets. If you go for a mobile service there won't be any dipping/stripping and no baking of paint. Mook
You pay for what you get though. Mobile is easy and convenient and, tbh, fine for a daily driver. But if you own something you're particular about cleaning etc. then a full refurb would be the preferred route
