Woppum
i am looking for one of those seats, steering wheels, pedals etc. Can anyone help with a et up for both 360 and PS3?
sbgwz
Steering wheels would have to be a logitech G25, watch the videos on youtube. There's playseat for the actual seat. Im not 100% sure but i believe the wheel works for both consoles and i know bellsO has one.
Woppum
So this is the seat. I need to spec 2 wheels and pedals, 1 for each console. Which are the best bits of equipment!? http://www.gameracer.co.uk/
sbgwz
Apparently no steering wheel can match the Logitech G25, there's no really clear videos about but they really are meant to be the best available, You would really have to read in to whether its 360 compatible. bells0
Logi G25 doesn't work on the 360 as far as i know. Is an awesome wheel, the pedals are top quality and all have a different weighting. 2 force feeback motors in the wheel make it a lot easier to catch a slide and u can really feel the undulations in the surface of the tracks. Having a proper gearbox and clutch is really cool, but i quickly swapped to using the sequential paddles as makes for a much quicker change. Havent got a seat yet as no space, but there are a few options if you google PS3 raceseat.
Chav
there's a few places that do full cockpits wopps - think they were only £500 or so. biggest prob with steering wheels is its mounting so its firm.
Woppum
Ok choosen a set up. I have this for the PS3: http://gameracer.co.uk/detail.aspx?ID=74 then this steering wheel set up for the 360. I will have to chop and change. http://gameracer.co.uk/detail.aspx?ID=83 they have no stock of the G25, but will hopefully get and send by the end of the week. Much cheaper than track days! BrianFD3S
Seeing as this seems to be the racing-peripherals thread du jour, could anyone tell me if there is any other ps3 wheel with the stick on the left? I'd love a G25, but I can barely afford a ps3, let alone a pro-spec racing wheel.

jettadeluxe
I have an old Cobra Classic low back bucket that I use for a gaming chair, just mounted it on a universal subframe and attached 4 rubber feet!
bells0
G25 is the only wheel that i know of that has a separate gear lever that can be placed anywhere. All the others are fixed to the wheel on the right.
