Digital Camera recommendation please

Well, the casio is here. I've only really charged it and snapped a couple of things in the office but initial impressions are that its a smart bit of kit and the images look reasonably ok to me - good value at £100 I think.

Bazza, are you sure it was the 1080 you had? Seems reasonably sturdy to me.... *sound of fate being tempted* ;)

You buy a camera for it's looks? :confused:

At the moment, and don't forget i see a lot of pro-work, I like the stuff canon is producing.. well made, good price and fantastic results.

Are you talking about the DSLRs or compacts? I haven't been impressed with my Ixus 950IS at all. My phone takes better photos most of the time.
