Mollox
Anyone else experiencing download issues on YouTube or noticed a real slowing down of late? I'm hardly running a hot rod rig but until recently, and with very few exceptions, it would always easily outstream playback. But now, its a joke - a 3 min video is taking 10+ minutes to load (if at all) and it suddenly makes YouTube a pile of poo. Not sure if its my end (8mb Pipex) or a wider issue. Anyone else noticed similar?

Mac
I get that effect if I use firefox, but the same video plays fine in Safari. Try updating your browser or giving it a go in Firefox.
Andrew
I'm getting the same in IE7 - downloads other stuff ok but anything on YouTube is dog slow. 10 min video taking well over 30 mins.
Mollox
See....I think its a server end issue. The rotating flower thing (latter day egg timer) is new and its also stopped caching the videos once downloaded... Odd, somedays it works, more often than not it doesn't
Andrew
Well, last night I couldn't get the 430 Scuderia review for Top Gear working at all but the Chris Harris Autocar stuff seemed to download alright. Same connection, same everything really.
Pumazooma
Since pipex were taken over by tiscali there's been some site throttling. Youtube is one of them. It frees up quite a bit at the weekend and after 11pm. I'm with Nildram (who are pipex aka tiscali) and I've had the same. I got my MAC code yesterday and I'm jumping ship to O2.
