Outlook says no...

Having a weird time with Outlook 2007. We're trying to forward a message to a group, but get an error message that just says "Cannot send this message" (see attached).

Expanding the group doesn't help; reforming the message doesn't help. Other messages work ok...

Okay so if I understand this correctly you are sending a message from outside to a group on the internal Exchange server?

By default Exchange won't automically respond to messages from the internet as this is a security risk. The configuration is either in the organisation level Internet Message policy or in the config of the SMTP virtaul server for the connector

No - this is our home PC. Simple broadband connection to ISP, Outlook 2007 installed locally, no servers involved!

Hopsta - yes, have tried re-creating the message from scratch. Same result. Also tried to save the draft message when we shut down last night, but we just get "The operation failed".

The message we're trying to send is a forwarded version of someone else's, so the next attempt tonight will be to rewrite the message entirely and create it as a "new message" rathert than "forward".

Thanks for your help - sorry if this is coming out in dribs & drabs.
