DukeDesmo Posted November 5, 2008 Report Share Posted November 5, 2008 I had to change the battery on my 3.2, it is indeed under the spare wheel. You need to take out the wheel and the tray that holds the tools etc on the right hand side and then there's a panel bolted to the floor that you need to remove. Don't recall any 'special' tools but you'll need the right sized socket to undo the bolts (might be torx bolts?) the battery is underneath this plate in a 'box'. It's a big battery...... gixxer600k4 Posted November 6, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 yea i know, talkin about that, does anyone know of a workshop manual like haynes for a a3 2.0 fsi 2003 8p modal? because haynes dont do one for this modal and in the car manual everything is like if it is faulty take it to audi, get a qualified mechanic to do it! n all it is, is to change a bloody bulb!
