Scotty Posted November 8, 2008 Report Share Posted November 8, 2008 It took it's time but they're coming back at last!! The thing is, I can't remember what I actually miss from Sky One! I'm a bit concerned about the number of channels coming on board. I though they were struggling for bandwidth for the channels so could this affect compression and quality? Hopsta Posted November 8, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 8, 2008 The big thing that's holding back VW now is the lack of HD content, reading that thread it appears that 15 additional channels will be introduced next year. Personally the only issues I've had with their service was after i've asked for upgrades and they've cocked them up, day to day it's been on the money. I remember being outraged at the time and wondering how I'd manage. But I have. Now I'd rather have fewer channels hogging the bandwidth and have better quality, i.e. HD. Admittedly, I now download most of the stuff I watch, e.g. The Unit, Atlantis, House. I've given up on stuff like Lost and Heroes as they turned stupid and I refuse to be dragged along for years while their twisted plots unwind.
