cruiser647
A year salary IF they get the go ahead for big rescue loans. So that will save a few $m. Now, if the whole board were to do that on all 3 companies, they'd save a bit more. It is the least they could do with many of their employees being made redundant - partly the boards' collective faults - but still, it's something. Ford is also to sell it's 5 corporate jets - in a falling market? ! Ford want $9Bn, GM want $12Bn and Chrsyler want $7Bn.
Mook
They're all corrupt muppets who don't deserve to be in the positions they're in. The amount of money they're asking for is laughable.
bfc1912
Yes, but I bet that they'll put loads of stuff as company expenses and their pay will be deferred into bonuses or those grotesque pensions/golden handshakes they all get. theduisbergkid
They're all working on as much positive media spin as possible in order to look modest/organised/realistic and blag a share of this $25 billion pot that (supposedly) sits in the Whitehouse for such a disaster. If they really cared they wouldn't draw a salary for each year the company makes a loss.. oh, hang on, thats most years in the last 10 then....
