bigface
Hi i polished and waxed the car before christmas but have not washed it since, i had cleaned the Milltek and got it pretty clean and shiny at the time with megs metal polish. I am now considering washing her again but the Milltek is very black and also what looks like little specs of rust on it so i was wondering what could u use to clean it to look like new again?? thanks for any help MOK
Mook
Use wire wool to get rid of the small rust spots, then use Megs metal polish again.

Mook
You're thinking too much about it - it's only an exhaust! Fine grade will be OK.
JonC
You're thinking too much about it - it's only an exhaust! A Milltek is for life, not just for Christmas Treat your Milltek as you would like to be treated.
Mook
Look, if you reckon I'd like to be strapped to the bottom of a car and have that much noxious gas pumped through me, you're very much mistaken...

Phil_S
just in to drop a suggestion, i personally wouldnt use a wire brush etc unless it was the same grade of metal, cross contamination n' all (yeah i know its jsut an exhaust) anyway main point i find t-cut or any other fine polishing compound ie g3 or g10 does the job really well and gives a great finish, tho its a little bit more work hope i helped
