Only downside to the S Line spec is that that the wheels you get as part of the upgrade aren't the best and the only other attractive option is the RS style ones but there is an additional cost and they are 20". Add this to the lowered S Line suspension and it could be a very hard ride.

Don't know why they won't let you spec the 19" Y wheels with S Line

Thanks guys. I'm not too bothered about the interior upgrades and think I'm right in saying the suspension set up you get with the Sport will be almost identical to the S-Line? - or not noticeably different in any case. I don't think I could live with the ride of those 20" rims though - as good as they look. Like you say booster odd that the 19" Y design ones aren't an option with S-Line!! To me these are the best looking by far of all the options. I guess decision then is whether the exterior bits are worth the money? - in the photos the S-Line definitely looks that bit more aggressive and stylish but is it 1270 quid better?............................aaaaaaaaahhhhhh the dilemma continues!!!

in my experience, s-line suspension on any audi comfier than sport...its less floaty, more reassuring, less tiresome (not as much bouncing) etc. also makes car look better as its a bit lower, and its safer if you're making progress.

bigger wheels dont impact on comfort as much as many folks on here say. personally i cant really tell the sodding difference unless the suspension of the car is crap anyway. +++

If its a private purchase, an s-line model will be much easier to shift when you want to sell it. although buying a new car isnt an investment of course.
