Mike_cabrio Posted April 5, 2009 Report Share Posted April 5, 2009 I have a strange problem I can control my passenger mirror up,down, left and right but when i switch to the drivers mirror it will only move up and down not left and right, any ideas ? UBM Posted May 8, 2009 Report Share Posted May 8, 2009 Yes. The mirror will gently coax out using for example a plastic ruler. The mirror is monuted onto the motor via a series of plastic clips on the backside of the mirror in a circle. You need to gently prise the mirror off the mount by applying slight pressure all the way around the edge of the mirror. It will be left dangling by two wires when it comes out - these are the wires that supply currrent to heat the mirror, It does not matter which goes on which contact. Let us know how you get on!
