earthworm_gym
Hi there, I'm new to this forum, and had a concern I wanted to share. I own a Ford Fiesta '95 and recently when I've been driving it, it's been making the noise as if it has a flat tyre (like a regular beat, which gets more frequent as you drive faster.) Yet when I checked the tyres, they are all in good condition. I tried topping up the air in all the tyres in case they were a little bit flat but that didn't seem to cure the problem. Is there anything else it could be? The car itself drives fine, but it's just the noise seems very worrying- you can especially notice it when travelling about 10-15 mph. Any suggestions to a solution? Thanks in advance :-)
UBM
Yes - funnily enough it happened to me tonight. Check your nuts are holding your on tightly enough!
Mollox
Maybe your spare is flat? Sorry - Welcome Have a visual inspection and do a nut-tightening check first and foremost. Then go and have a look at the car... Sorry again!
UBM
So, did we cure your problem. Have you got tight nuts now? I'm not taking the pi55 by the way - my front nearside wheel nuts were all about 2 full turns loose.......

Autogas
booming droning noise through the car? maybe wheel bearing or gearbox/diff bearing, or a flat spot on a tyre, done any skidding emergency stops recently?
DXB
A flat spot would make a continuous banging noise and vibration, You would certainly know about that
