Calm Chris
Would anyone be interested in 3 x 1 oz kruggerand coins ? Price would be the gold ounce market value on date on handover / cash paid. So on a coin at today's 1 oz fix would be £698.71 ($1137.10) plus premium and commission. Cheapest net source seems to be £733.00 ($1187.40). I could sell to a gold market, but they'd sting me for 3% commission. You could buy from the same source and they'd sting you for 4-5% above ounce price. So I think the sell value is balanced at 1 oz fix. Based in North London, happy to deliver SE / local home counties. Copy of purchase invoice will be supplied and sight of original invoice to confirm authenticity. Gold has gone up 20% a year for the last few years and the market is suggesting growth to $1500 per ounce is likely. Calm Chris
Found this, still have a bundle of them and I want to move my investment to the wrist variety. If anyone had taken the offer 14 months ago, 3 coins would have moved from a value of £2100 odd, to £2700 at March 2011 prices. £600 odd 'profit' or circa 32% increase. Slightly better than the current average 2.7% in the bank. Anyway might anyone want them ? Still only selling 3, although if pushed I'd sell 5 which means I'll still hold a decent pile. Market price on day of exchange, pure price no commission (standard is 4-7% buy, 3% sale- so I'd make more selling private and the buyer makes more buying private).
