£35K new, so about £20K now, even for a 5 year old one. 350bhp of turbo'd madness

IIRC, the new Litchfield is a Type 20 isn't it?

I'd choose a Megane Renaultsport 250 (or whatever) they're called - saw a new one this morning and I'd take that any day over a Scirocco R +++

If it was just for the looks, it's be an Alfa Brera Prodrive. Lush :D

No no, I meant the 415bhp one

I've tried a Brera and they're nose heavy, shonky brakes and Italian build quality - but that's not why I'd have one - they're one of the best looking cars around at the minute :)

After reading this thread last night I specced up an Alfa Romeo's Giulietta (Cloverleaf) and I have to say you get a lot of metal for your £££....I wonder if the smaller and no doubt lighter Turbo engines reduce the nose heavy handling....If it was`t for the perceived "iffy" build quality I`d seriously consider the 235bhp cloverleaf.....I wonder if Alfa will slot this engine in the Brera.....It could be a winner IMO.

A friend had an Alfa 156 10yrs ago and I can`t recall him having any major issues although I do remember him slating the service he received at the dealers.....From memory the 156 also seemed to be pretty well screwed together.

I think a surfing session on the net may be in order to see what current owners think of their Stylish but reputably temperamental Alfa`s.
